So let's get to it Killmanites, line up those Unobtanium requests and let's kick some hard-to-find ass together! 2015 just got a whole lot more awesome... Well Hell Party People, looks like it's finally about that time... That means that All you Babes & Babettes that were kind enough to show your support and share the love are about to be rewarded! Everyone that pre-ordered from our first run, your shirts will be on their way to you this week. Wear 'em with pride, and a big shit-eating grin! Those of you that tuned in for T Shirt-A-Palooza know the story. We reached out to the community for custom artwork and held a vote-driven contest. The community responded with three local winners; A 9 yr. old boy, a working mother and a local University of Victoria Fine Arts student, every one of them worked hard to give us a kick-ass logo. Matter of fact, they were so kick-ass that the Evil Overlord decided to award a surprise third prize! talent is where you find it folks, and when the people tell you what they want, it behooves you to put on yer listenin' shoes. Now, it took a while to get them finished. We sent our shirt guys back to the drawing board more than once, but if they were going to represent Killman Customs, then they had to be right. Not just right now. Not just "good enough". Aluminum, steel, chrome, or cotton, if it rolls through the doors of this shop, on two wheels or two feet, it will be right. Period end dot. We just couldn't get on board with using some Generic logo, or knock-off artwork that everyone's using, printed on some generic black or white T Shirt, and then charging $40 dollars for it. Not gonna happen on the Evil Overlord's watch. No freakin' sir. We all work too damn hard for our dineros for Killman Customs to be perpetuating that cycle. You deserve the best, so we worked our asses off to get you the best. Because that's what a custom Shop is supposed to do. And that, my nutty little bunch, was the beginning of Mr. Evil Overlord's Wild Ride! We wanted our shirts, for our shop, to be comfortable, unique to us, reasonably-priced, and just plain awesome. They had to be old-school. They had to be fun. They had to be the shit. So we negotiated with a butt-load of printers, trying to get a decent product for a decent price. It felt a lot like a prison rodeo. Didn't care for it. Nope, didn't like the limitations or the crazy costs. Definitely didn't like what the end price would have been for you guys. So we decided to start our own damn clothing line.Yup, that's right, every flippin' one of these shirts was designed, from scratch, by us. Every stripe, every stitch, every collar, had to be just right. It took a while, and we had to rant, rave and threaten to kick the occasional ass, but now they're ready, and Custom made and individually designed to best showcase each Logo, from 100% cotton super-soft single jersey fabric in 160 GSM, with a wicked Killman Customs printed label, in different styles, using different printing methods to optimize each logo's artistry, these shirts are the proverbial shit! Now over the coming months we'll be expanding our offerings, (which you'll be able to see in person at one of the dozens of shows, rallies, meets and assorted other random biker shindigs that Killman Customs will be attending NATION-WIDE this year) but for now, the Evil Overlord is gazing upon his works, and he finds them excellent. So get'cher ass into the online store already and grab yourself a couple of shirts ! |
