Well Hell's Bells, if this hasn't been a crazy week! We'll be debuting some bad-ass and beautiful Gremlin Guardian Bells, on our new online store, within the next few days. So be sure to check back, and order early, so that we can get those to you in time for Christmas!!! Hang 'em on your bikes, keys, Christmas Trees, dog Collars or nipples. We don't judge! We encourage pics for our Show & Shine page. Can't wait to see 'em!! | |
(Please do NOT hang your bells from your dogs' nipples, or anything that may resemble them)
Just a taster Of The Bell Designs We'll Be Showcasing | *** IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT WE ANNOUNCE A NEW 10% DISCOUNT ON SERVICES, FOR ALL MEMBERS OF MARTIAL ARTS UNLIMITED, IN ESQUIMAULT. For those of you just tuning in, here are the results, so far:
For those of you just tuning in, here are the results, so far:
- Dana Lamothe, of Designs By Dana, is holding a lead with 67 votes in first place (if you need a little pow in your panties, just head on over to her page for some seriously promographic marital aids).
- After some cutthroat jockeying for position, Jim Carter, of Incendiary Tattoos in Esquimault, has grabbed the number 2 spot with 50 votes.
- In 3rd place, but by no means to be discounted, is Iain Francis MacHenry, of IFM61, with 47 votes. This talented artist, and fellow rider, also has a project bike up for sale on our S Mart page. So head on over there too, and take a peek!
| In case anyone hadn't caught on, we started up a Custom Motorcycle business a while back. Worked our asses off to do it, and we'd like to get some art to celebrate. Along those lines, we decided to run a rockin' T Shirt design competition, (cash prizes and full credit to the artists, and we're more than happy to credit any studio they represent as well, so send us your info and links with your designs) to hopefully bring in some ideas. |
Figured it would be pretty cool to get a design nice enough to both represent the business, and maybe use for a tattoo piece.
Not to mention, hopefully finding some artists that we can begin a relationship with, for future design jobs. Kind of an audition for attitude and talent.
We've been asked a couple of times, during our little contest, for a more specific idea of what we're looking for in a design. We've resisted this up to now, worried that trying to impose our own visions might stifle some of the creativity that we're trying to promote, However, Ms. Evil Overlord has recently, forcefully and poignantly, reminded me that you can't get what you don't ask for.
So I've been thinking, (usually dangerous) and my dream design wo uld be a sexy white tiger chick, riding a 50-60's sc i-fi rocket bike with wrapped pipes, waving a wrench or some other tool, with a pair of boxing gloves tied off to the bike a nd trailing in the wind . A little colour never hurt anyone, either. And a sense of fun is always awesome.
We don't want to frustrate people that are working on designs already, though. honestly, whatever you come up with is going to be more than welcome. People come to us for help with their rides, because that's what we do. We're asking for other artist's to do your thing, because that's what you guys do, and we respect that. That's the whole reason we're putting on this little show in the first place. In other words, take the design components that we've given you on both our Homepage and the T Shirt-A-Palooza page, and just fill your boots.
Now don't be a fraidy-cat, and get all intimidated, just because we're getting submissions from pro's. Rustic is good. We're all about rust and gasoline dreams, here.
And keep in mind, you can definitely enter more than one design. There are multiple prizes, after all.

| Gotta say, the idea of jumping on the bikes in the Spring, to meet some folks, drop off some swag and get inked, is pretty appealing. So give it your best shot, huh? Well that and have fun, gotta have some fun! It's like Christmas, every time we see a new design. |
Speaking of which, enjoy the Season folks. This can be a crazy-busy, stressful, time of year. So eat, Drink heavily, self-medicate, stuff each other's stockings and be merry. Because Christmas is Fun, Goddamnit !! :)
