Shitshow and Shine 2017 is in the books!

Last year's inaugural Shitshow and Shine by Om Boys was easily one of our favorite events and this year's offering was a strong follow up.

​Ashley and Jesse, the faces behind the madness at Om Boys, are not just two of our favorite people, but an amazing couple to boot. You can pretty much taste the love and fun bleed through into everything they do. Hell, they were even kind enough to let us store our show and shine offering at their place over the weekend. Hearts for days on those two and the rest of their wild bunch are just as cool and hospitable. Special thanks to the girls at the Om Boys booth for the rad tank top treatment they gave the tshirt I picked up. Love this thing!

This year was extra super special for us, because we brought out a new member of the family to show off the wicked Copper Bobber we recently built for her! Not bad for her first bike. Ali was a golden rock goddess and we couldn't have loved having her onboard more.

Between roaming around together to check shit out, shopping for amazeballs gear from the other vendors, winning some of the skazillion raffle prizes together and just chilling at the hotel with pizza and wobbly pops, it was a bitchin' way to spend a beautiful weekend. Thank you Ali for the stellar reppin' and the giggles, you killed it for us!

In addition to being a pretty awesome hooman bean, Ali is a freakin' sorceress when it comes to hair, so be sure to check her out on Instagram and Facebook. We know for sure she had a good time, because she even wrote us a thing to say so. Here's the thing!

"What a first show experience!! It was a real blast to hear everyone express surprise that my bike was a Honda shadow, and then watching them point out all the parts of the shadow they recognized. Every person who stopped was blown away with the copper work. It was really interesting to hear everyone's design take on her as well, like it sparked up some inspiration and got them thinking what they would've done with the project. The la rosa seats and bag were a huge hit as well; so many people inquired as to where we found them.
I can't wait to find out what the next show has in store for us, and how many more people will pick up inspiration from our little shadow."

The Shitshow brings all the feels, and just plain rocks fun hard, like Johnny Cash sniffing glue in a bouncy castle. I mean seriously, who the Hell wouldn't hang a gas tank show and shine trophy right over the bed with a huge shit eating grin?

​Between the positive, inclusive vibe and the stunning variety and quality of the iron on display, any motofiend is gonna find something to get their heart banging like a 2 stroke on a beer run. Speaking of cool work, the Island has a new bit of talent by way of Keg Killer Customs, loved what we saw Killer and welcome to the neighbourhood!

Not to be missed were the Dirty Devils Rat Rod crew, all Mad Maxed to the tits, and their cars of doom! Also appreciated were the fine tunes bestowed upon us by Ecstasy Audio. Nice to have something to pour in my ear other than lost dogs, banjos and pickup trucks.

Yup, a good time was most definitely had and we can't wait to head back and do it all again. Well flippin' done Om Boys, thanks for the memories!
